39 week appt

So. I met a new midwife today, he name was Carine i think. she was okay. a little older, reminded me of a doctor, more than a midwife. she told me Noah is very low, and head down still. the nurse got me excited when she pulled out the apron and lap cover thingy, but Carine put it away once she came into the room :( no internals for me. she told me that most first time moms can expect to go 10 days past her due date. sigh. thats way too long from here. thats a whole 18 days from today :'( tearrrr. but anyway, i only gained 1 lb! i was so excited when i saw that! i moved the scale all the way to 176 to start off at, and it was way too much and i was like yesss and kept sliding it back.. 171. WOOT! yes, thats still high, and 39 lbs gained thus far in my pregnancy, but i really just had a huge jump in the 2nd trimester. idk what happened those few weeks, but i gained most of my weight then. ok, ill do a full update tomorrow morning. :)
