the house

sooo i saw the house with my mom and sister today. i love it. it needs some work, but it is deff great for the price. theyre painting the whole inside of the house today, putting up a railing for the stairs (and i saw it, and it uggggly, but w/e), theyre also putting up a runner thingy of carpet up the stairs in a light beige (sweet!). i want to buy it from john once his mom dies and he wants to sell it. its perfect. its right by a brand new, nice neighborhood. its not on a buy street whatsoever. it is JUST LIKE the house we saw in mastic that i liked, besides it needing a little work (ill get to what i'd do it to if we bought it in a bit) and its bigger, annnnd the living room is situated in a way that would work, unlike the other house where the fireplace would be in the way and stuff. i loooove it. ok what i would do to it if we were buying it (not including what they are doing to it already for us). I would sand and polish the floors, take down the wood moulding around the windows and doors, get a new vanity for the bathroom.. it deff has the space for a bigger one, re-do the upstairs. idk what we would use the rooms for, maybe a guest/2nd child's bedroom to the left, then a play room to the right.. most likely. but we'd have to change where the door is.. prob make a little closet, or 2nd bathroom straight ahead, then doors on either side. in the kitchen i would replace the cabinets with nice white ones or a light wood, maybe a dark wood, idk haha, and get a brand new fridge, stainless steel :D. and a new counter top and sink. i didnt really look at the sink or counter top, but im assuming its not as great as i would want it to be in our house. and i would replace the front and back doors, they just replaced the knobs, but the doors are kinda icky. the front of the house is perfect. they really went nuts with the curb appeal. i would just take down the little wall thingy holding up the awning and get a nice wood porch, like the one jay built at his aunts. and in the back yard i would expand the back stoop/porch to the left all the way and make a little deck, big enough to fit a table and chairs and a bbq. i would also want to put up a fence around the back yard and along the sides. and thats it. wow. John the landlord is replacing the cesspool, i think hes putting 2 in? idk what that means, but thats what mom said. there is a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. hes really cheap, and a nice guy, and if his mom goes anytime soon, within like 5 years ,the market will still be sucky, and i KNOW he would give us an awesome price. jay would want to finish the basement.. and its totally doable. i love it. so much. and now moms saying im "taking control" of all of this and she feels like "she found it first, and SHES renting it.." uhhh so are we..... were splitting it. w/e. im just sooo excited to be moving into a house, with a yard! haha.
